Within the 14-day presentation of the South Moravian region of the Czech National Pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan also GCRC got their space to present themselves. With regard to this year's theme of the exhibition "Food for the Planet, Energy for Life" GCRC presented their research activities in the field of photosynthesis, which is the basis for all food production, and the research on the utilization potential of the photosynthesis of algae. CzechGlobe aircraft equipped by sensors HyPlant (FZJ), TASI-600 and LMS Q-780 is part of ESA FLEXSense campaign since beginning of June. Campaign is focused on supportive measurements for the future satellite mission FLEX. Areas of interest are located in the Italy, Germany, France Switzerland and Spain. Another teams with airborne imaging sensors APEX (UZH), AVIRIS NG (NASA) or sensors for atmospheric measurements (METAIR) are associated partners of the campaign as well.
